**Effective date:** 8 September 2026
**Last updated:** 8 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how **Sort & Restore** (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Android game Sort & Restore.

## 1. Summary
Sort & Restore is a casual puzzle game. The App does not require you to create an account.
Most gameplay information, such as level progress, stars, coins, settings, and similar game state, is stored locally on your device.
The App uses **Google AdMob** to provide rewarded and interstitial advertising. Google and its advertising partners may collect and process certain device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and approximate-location information in connection with serving, measuring, securing, and personalizing ads, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
The App also uses Google’s **User Messaging Platform (UMP)** to present consent or privacy choices where required.
## 2. Information stored locally by the App
Sort & Restore may store the following information locally on your device:
- level progress and completion history;
- star ratings and best results;
- in-game coin balance and other game-economy state;
- gameplay settings and preferences;
- music, sound-effect, and haptic preferences;
- tutorial or onboarding state;
- information needed to resume or manage game progress.
This local gameplay data is used to operate the game and remember your preferences. We do not currently provide user accounts or cloud synchronization for Sort & Restore.
You can generally remove locally stored App data by clearing the App’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App.
## 3. Advertising and information processed by Google AdMob
Sort & Restore uses **Google AdMob** to display:
- rewarded ads, which you may choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit; and
- interstitial ads, which may appear at appropriate breaks in gameplay.
According to Google’s documentation for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK may automatically collect and share information such as:
- **IP address**, which may be used to estimate a device’s general location;
- **user product interactions**, such as app launches, taps, and video views;
- **diagnostic and performance information**, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage; and
- **device and account identifiers**, including the Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and, where applicable, other identifiers associated with accounts on the device.
Google may use this information for purposes including advertising, analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and improving its services. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s policies, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
We do not directly receive your full advertising identifier or build a personal advertising profile about you ourselves merely because AdMob is used in the App.

## 4. Consent and privacy choices
Sort & Restore uses Google’s **User Messaging Platform (UMP)** to request or manage privacy choices where required.
### European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where applicable, you may be shown a consent message relating to advertising and the use of information by Google and participating advertising partners.
Depending on the choices offered in your region, you may be able to:
- consent;
- decline consent;
- manage individual privacy choices; and
- later revisit or change those choices.
When required by Google UMP, the App provides a **Privacy and cookie settings** entry in Settings so you can revisit your consent choices.
### United States
In certain US states, applicable privacy laws may provide rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information or the use of information for targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some advertising-related disclosures or uses may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state privacy laws.
Where required and supported through Google’s privacy tools, you may be able to opt out through the **Privacy and cookie settings** control in the App.
## 5. Advertising identifiers and Android controls
Your Android device may provide advertising or app-scoped identifiers that are used by advertising services.
Depending on your Android version and device settings, you may be able to reset, delete, or limit use of your advertising ID through Android privacy or advertising settings.
Changing these settings may affect ad personalization but does not necessarily prevent ads from being displayed.
## 6. Rewarded ads
Rewarded ads are optional. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the App receives a notification from the advertising SDK when the reward has been earned and then grants the relevant in-game benefit.
The App does not require you to make a purchase in order to use rewarded-ad features.
## 7. Information we do not intentionally collect directly
Sort & Restore does not currently ask you to provide:
- your name;
- postal address;
- phone number;
- account password;
- contacts;
- photos or media;
- precise GPS location;
- payment-card information; or
- user-generated content.
The App does not currently include an account-registration system.
This does not mean that third-party services such as Google AdMob collect no information; their processing is described separately in this Policy and in their own privacy documentation.
## 8. Precise location
Sort & Restore does not intentionally request access to your device’s precise GPS location.
Google AdMob may process your IP address and use it to estimate a **general** location, as described in Google’s Mobile Ads documentation.
## 9. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Information may be processed or shared with third-party service providers where necessary to operate advertising and privacy features in the App, including Google and advertising partners participating through Google AdMob.
These third parties process information under their own terms, privacy policies, legal obligations, and the privacy choices available to you.
## 10. Data retention
Gameplay information stored locally remains on your device until it is overwritten, reset, cleared through Android settings, or removed when you uninstall the App, subject to how Android handles backups or device data.
Information processed by Google or other advertising partners is retained according to those providers’ own retention policies and applicable law.
## 11. Security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the nature of the App.
Google states that user data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
## 12. International data processing
Google and participating advertising partners may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, those providers are responsible for using appropriate legal mechanisms and safeguards for international data transfers under applicable law.
## 13. Children’s privacy
Sort & Restore is intended for a **general audience** and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly to us through the App.
If the App is later marketed or configured as child-directed, or if its Google Play target-audience settings include children in a way that triggers additional legal or platform requirements, we will update the App’s advertising configuration and this Privacy Policy as required.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, contact us using the email address below.
## 14. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding personal information, such as rights to:
- access information;
- request correction or deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities; or
- lodge a complaint with a relevant privacy regulator.
Because most Sort & Restore gameplay information is stored only on your device and is not associated with an account controlled by us, we may not be able to identify or retrieve that local information remotely.
For advertising-related privacy choices, use **Privacy and cookie settings** in the App when that option is available, together with the privacy controls provided by Android and Google.
You may also contact us regarding privacy questions or requests.
## 15. Third-party links and services
The App may interact with third-party services, including Google AdMob and Google UMP. Their privacy practices are governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not control.
## 16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, advertising configuration, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice.
